Luck is an unassuming but wildly helpful stat, boosting things like critical hits, item conditions and durability, recharge rates, and your general good fortune throughout gameplay. Agility pairs nicely with Perception, giving you more action points for your V.A.T.S and aiding your stealthiness. Intelligence boosts your crafting and hacking abilities, making more durable items and an easier time of hacking terminals. Charisma is handy for team play and makes good use of the Lone Wanderer perk cards when playing solo. You will need 75 Dwellers in your Vault + 68,800 Caps in order. Endurance is more of a support attribute, boosting health and warding off diseases. To craft Legendary Weapons, you will need to build the Weapon workshop and upgrade it to level 3. Some other general guidelines: Strength is conducive for melee and shotgun-style combat while Perception makes use of rifles, stealthier weapons, and accuracy. Perception affects your accuracy when targeting V.A.T.S, which are essentially an auto-aim feature with a percent chance to hit or miss up to a max accuracy of 95%. Hopefully they’ll allow the ability the re-reoll SPECIFIC effects in the future, but for now that’s not the case. This tip is based predominantly on your personal playstyle, but for new players or amateur shooters, you may consider investing heavily in the Perception attribute. So make sure you know that before accidentally (pretty much) destroying one of your current favorite Legendary’s with the hope of giving it more power. The moment you apply the Legendary “upgrade” it will entirely re-roll your Legendary, so now you might end up with a Troubleshooters or Mutant’s instead. Sad to say, but that’s simply not possible. You want to keep the Two Shot effect, but would like to turn it into a 3 star with more legendary effects. Say you have a Two Shot missile launcher. The official post makes it sound like it just adds 2 or 3 star effects on a Legendary with some good base legendary effects. THE IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER: Your current legendary’s do not, in any way, “upgrade”. Legendary crafting is completely randomized, so you click your button and let RNG do the rest, so you MIGHT get absolute crap, or you might roll a bloodied (or now, I suppose, aristocrat’s) 25% fire speed, 15% reload Fixer. Legendary crafting is a GREAT system, but there’s a couple things you need to be fully aware of before you make the beautiful same mistake I did… and completely destroy a legendary you liked.
